Through this adventurous MISSION TO MARS Holiday Program, learners will be:

Create a constellation art masterpiece
How do astronauts breathe?
Understand the importance of a spacesuit for an astronaut
Identify some physical training that astronauts undergo
Make a lung model that represents the astronauts when in space
Day 2
How will we land on Mars?
Understand how do objects land on Mars
Identify different landers launched to Mars
Lander Challenge:
Discuss and create a lander using engineering and creativity designs
Test and present each lander design
Day 3
What does a Mars rover do?
Understand the purpose of a Mars rover
Understand how does Mars rover work
Create a rover using engineering designs
Is a space elevator possible?
Understand what is a space elevator and what it is used for

Ms. MAY LING
Ms. May Ling, MSc. is currently a Science Teacher in a prestige International School and has been teaching primary & secondary science subject for more than 7 years. She is also a Researcher and a Writer. She’s been selected to be trained on STEAM education in the United States in 2018 to teach in Malaysia. Her classes are filled with hands-on fun and interactive activities because she’s able to get everyone in the class engaged throughout.
